The founder of DocMatic Solutions, Mario Boulanger, has formal training as an electrician with a specialization in instrumentation, automation, control and robotics. With more than 20 years of experience in construction, electrical maintenance and industrial instrumentation, he quickly realized that paper management is a factor that affects the collaboration between the various components of a project. Therefore, it would be useful to develop software that can be used to develop and share all the components of a project in order for all stakeholders to easily access the inventory no matter where they are, at any time.

This idea sprang up and influenced the development of the collaborative platform DocMatic. The DocMatic software is based on the principle of using multi-user data sheets on an online medium rather than on paper. The data sheet has been proven and is still used in different companies. To test the effectiveness of the Beta version of the DocMatic software, team members did not just perform simulations in the lab; they officially took charge of a plan to expand an airport terminal and build a new hospital. Discovering the power and capabilities of the software, they chose to include a series of automated tools such as balance reports, history of modifications, coordination, maintenance, monitoring, commissioning, etc.

What had started as a vision came to fruition in 2016 with the signing of the first contract with a leading engineering consulting firm on a pharmaceutical factory project evaluated at $ 200 million.

In 2017, DocMatic reaffirms the effectiveness of its software with the signing of a second contract with a major consortium for the engineering of a mega hospital complex valued at nearly $ 2 billion. A third contract with a Pan Canadian construction company to manage a large-scale project will prove to everyone that DocMatic Solutions delivers on its promises and enables organizations to build better and more efficiently through the optimized exploitation of information.
